Originally heavily degraded due to logging and deforestation, Ragati Conservancy has undergone extensive restoration efforts to rehabilitate the forest and its biodiversity. It now stands as an inspiring example of forest conservation in action. The conservancy is known for its rich birdlife and excellent fly fishing opportunities, as the Ragati River is stocked with rainbow and brown trout.

Ragati features varied ecosystems, including primary (old-growth) and secondary (replanted) forests, as well as pristine rivers. Kichachu Camp, set in a beautiful forest glade, provides an opportunity to truly disconnect from technology and reconnect with nature. The camp offers canvas tents with individual cots, kitchen supplies, flushing toilets, an outdoor fireplace, and good showers. It is also staffed, ensuring you will be well taken care of during your stay. A 4WD vehicle is a must!
