Tsavo East National Park, one of Kenya's oldest and largest national parks, is renowned for its vast wilderness, diverse ecosystems, and iconic 'red' elephants. It is home to a rich variety of wildlife, including lions, leopards, buffalos, zebras, and a plethora of bird species. As a birdwatcher, you’ll be amazed by the sheer number of hornbills in the area—many of them quite bold and approachable!

If you enjoy savannah landscapes, game drives, and the traditional safari experience, this is the place for you. You’ll appreciate the park’s natural features, such as Mudanda Rock and the winding Galana River. Ndololo Campsite is one of several guarded camping options and is located not far from Voi Gate. It offers flushing toilets and showers.

Please note that there are many monkeys in and around the camp, which can be a nuisance. However, the experience of camping under the stars in this vast, remote ecosystem more than makes up for it!
