Tsavo House Campsite, Voi

Tsavo House is a beautiful private earthen home situated on a 2-acre property just outside of Voi town. The owner welcomes campers to spend a night (or more!) in a secluded area of the property, nestled within a small woodland.

If you’re road-tripping to the coast (or back to Nairobi) along Mombasa Road, this is an excellent option for breaking up the journey. Be sure to take a walk through the property, look out for new birds, and see if you can spot vervet monkeys dancing around the giant fig tree, just a short walk along the dry riverbed.
