Kili Hills Sanctuary, Oloitoktok

The sanctuary is named for its stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest peak, which towers over the surrounding plains in all its snow-capped splendor. Established to protect the region's natural resources and wildlife, Kili Hills Sanctuary is situated on the western edge of a vast wildlife area that stretches to the Chyulu Hills and Tsavo.

While wild game may be sparse, you will enjoy the pleasant walks through the sanctuary. The campsite is extremely comfortable and offers some of the best facilities among campsites in Kenya. You’ll be treated to hot showers, clean flushing toilets, and a kitchen area for meals. It is also rich in birdlife that frequently visits the camp. Kili Hills Sanctuary is perfect for families and serves as a great option if you want to break up your trip from Tsavo to Amboseli (or vice versa).
