Loldia Eburru, Naivasha

This campsite offers one of the most—if not the most—comfortable camping experiences within reasonable reach of Nairobi. Impeccably maintained and managed, the campsite features an ablution block with hot showers, running water, and flush toilets. The site has been thoughtfully chosen, situated on a relatively flat area as the landscape ascends to Mount Eburru. It is shaded by several acres of majestic yellow-bark acacia trees and offers vast, beautiful views of Lake Naivasha, with the Aberdares and Mount Longonot visible in the distance. The grass is well-kept and short, allowing kids and pets to run around and play in the shade of the acacia trees with ease.

If you're visiting this area, we highly recommend a day trip to Mount Eburru National Reserve, where you can enjoy scenic hikes through enchanting highland forests. Keep an eye out for resident colobus monkeys and the occasional sighting of the endangered and elusive mountain bongo. The reserve features stunning views of the region, and and intriguing volcanic steam vents! Please be aware that Loldia is becoming increasingly popular as a camping destination, so you can expect several other families and campers during your stay.
